Bars above are
shown with a 4 letter name in chocolate. When a name has less or more
letters as in the image example below, we adjust the size of the name
to fit inside the standard bar sizes.

Since
we are the manufacturer, there will not be a name we won't carry, and
if we don't have your name already to make a mold with, we will make
it as soon as you order it and you won't have to pay for having a custom
mold made as it will become another stock name added to our already
growing list we can make Your Name in Chocolate molds with.
Q.
What are the molds for the Your Name in Chocolate made from?
A.
We use clear PETG food grade plastic for all of our chocolate molds.
We do not use polycarbonate or other plastics for food use due to health
risk to our customer.
Q.
How long will the Your Name in Chocolate molds last?
A.
We can't definitively tell you how long our molds will last, but we
can tell you this. We have a local chocolate company that uses custom
and stock molds we have made for them and have been doing so for a couple
years now. They do far more production than an average home user would,
and are still using the molds. Chocolate is very easy to cast, and does
not require mold release to be put on the molds since it already contains
its own fine oils. As long as care is taken of the molds and they are
treated gently and stored in a safe place when not in use, they will
last a very long time.
Q.
How can I clean my Your Name in Chocolate molds?
A.
Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth to clean your molds. DO NOT PUT
IN A DISH WASHER! A dish washer will be to hot and harsh for these molds
and will ruin them. Rinse them well in clean water and pat them dry
with a soft cloth or paper towel to keep water spots from forming on
them.
Q.
If you do not have my name in stock, how long will it take you to get
the molds made and shipped?
A.
We can make the master molds usually within one or two business days
and ship within that time frame also. Since our manufacturing process
has been set up now specifically for this project, we have it pretty
well streamlined to get the work done fast for our customers.
Q.
Can you make chocolates for us using molds we purchase from you?
A.
We do not make chocolate products here, only the molds to make them.
We can however refer you to our local chocolate shop and ship the molds
you purchase to them so they can make the chocolates for you if you
prefer. You will have to work with either them or a local chocolate
shop to get pricing and delivery on pre made chocolates made from our
molds. Keep in mind, making your own chocolates is very easy and fun
to do, but we understand that under some circumstances you may not be
able to do them yourself for whatever reason. Please use our Contact
Us page if you are thinking about having your chocolates made for
you with molds you purchase from us.
Q.
Why are your chocolate molds a little more expensive than ones we can
buy from a local craft store?
A.
Your local craft store buys molds from a distributor that most likely
gets their supply from a source in China. Those molds are made on large
full inline automated production machines by the many thousands per
day while paying a pittance in wages to the people that work and slave
next to these machines.
Our
molds are made one at a time, by hand, using a custom setup on a very
unique machine that would not be possible in China, or anywhere else
for that matter. Our machinery was built specifically for this type
of work. The Your Name in Chocolate program is also an expensive
investment in both time and money put into the molds so we can make
these products for you. All of our products are made in the USA!
Q.
Where can I get chocolate to use in the Your Name in Chocolate
molds?
A.
Most larger craft stores now carry several flavors of Wilton Candy Melts®
or you can purchase Ghirardelli Chocolate from most larger grocery stores.
